March 11, 2026Howard Community College (HCC) President Daria J. Willis today announced students Carlton Allen, Lorna Ngethe, and Oluwaseye Ayoade as semifinalists for the prestigious and highly competitive Cooke Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship from the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation. The finalists, who will be announced in May, could receive up to $55,000 per year for two to three years to complete a bachelor’s degree at any accredited four-year U.S. undergraduate institution. February 24, 2026The Howard Community College (HCC) Board of Trustees announces a change in format for the Wednesday, February 25, 2026, meeting to virtual via Zoom. A public meeting room will be available in the Rouse Company Foundation Student Services Hall, room 400. The board will be conducting a certain portion of its meeting in closed session under the Maryland Open Meetings Act, Title 3 of the General Provisions Article 3-303 (b). The closed session will also be conducted virtually.

January 29, 2026The Howard Community College (HCC) Board of Trustees announces a change of date for a previously announced work session. The budget work session, originally scheduled for January 21, will now be held on February 4, 2026, at 5 p.m. The rescheduled session will be held virtually via Zoom, with a public meeting room available in McCuan Hall, room 201/202. If inclement weather should occur and the College closes, a dial-in method will be made available to the public.
